Twilight
Oh man, how did they mess this one up? Vampires in high school, with a very promising trailer, and yet here I am about to tell you why to avoid it.
Twilight isn't very good. If you're a girl in your teens and you've read the book, step right up, you're the target audience. If you want a dose of vampirey neck-noshing, rent Interview with the Vampire again. Now that's a vampire movie. I enjoyed this film: I think the average moviegoer will enjoy it: (averaged out over those that love it and everybody else) Testosterone Satisfaction Rating: To enjoy this film: go back to your teens, become a girl, read the book.

I didn't know this, but apparently Twilight is a very popular book and the movie has been hotly anticipated by its
legions of fans. I guess this goes some way to explaining why there's so little bloodletting and so much broody staring -
but for the unprepared masses it just drags on and on and on and on and ooooonnnn ... until you're imploring inside your
head for someone to get eaten because your mate's neck is starting to look unsettlingly appetising. It would've worked a
whole lot better if we didn't know there were vampires to be discovered and if they didn't broadcast who
they were quite so brazenly by giving them fangs and painting them white (well, except the black one).
No-one else in the cast seems to notice this. It's a bit silly.
Kristen Stewart is actually pretty good as the human drawn into the vampiric family - you may or may not remember her from
her previous roles in
