The movie ratingsEach film review comes with three ratings out of five. The first indicates how much I enjoyed the film, so is purely subjective. The second rating indicates how much I think others will enjoy the movie - obviously everyone isn't going to rate it the same, but this should give a closer indication of your likelihood of enjoying it. Often this rating will seem to fly in the face of what I've blethered on about beforehand, in which case that's because I think most people will think that I'm talking codshite. The third rating is the Testosterone Satisfaction Rating (TSR). Anything liked by adolescent boys (however old they are!), including guns, special effects, nudity (female!) will contribute to a good rating here. The comment will also mention any features of the content that parents may wish to know about before taking little Johnny - the higher the rating (broadly), the less parents will approve of their kids seeing it - so the TSR doubles as a parental advisory rating! And all for no charge.
